Breast Pump

The pump provides a gentle, sustained level of One-Way airflow that continuously draws air away from the breast, which helps eliminate bacteria, reducing the occurrence of breast infections, pulsates and massages the breast; The more you stimulate the breast, more milk production and ultimate comfort

Milk is a prime breeding ground for bacteria so it's essential to sterilize all feeding equipment to kill germs.

You'll need to sterilize:

All bottle-feeding equipment - bottles, teats and caps.
Even if you're breastfeeding, you'll still need to sterilize accessories, such as breast pump parts.
Soothers, teethers, etc.
Weaning items, such as bowls, cups and spoons.

Which method should I choose?

Stem -  Easy to use. Simply add the required amount of water and plug into the mains. The water is then boiled and steams the content to kill the bacteria.

Microwave - Works on the same principle as steam sterilizing, boiling water to clean the equipment, however, it's usually quicker. Make sure you use a unit specially designed for a microwave and one that will fit inside your microwave.

Cold water - Sterilizing tablets or liquid combine with cold water to make a chemical solution which can then be reused several times within 24 hours. After sterilizing for about 30 minutes, rinse in cooled, boiled water.
