How do I know if I breastfeeding properly?
●Make sure that your baby's head and body are in straight line.
●Your baby's body should be snuggled in close and next to you.
●Your baby's nose should be opposite your nipple.
●Try to let your breast stay in the position it naturally falls.
● Your baby's head should be free to tilt back.
●Wherever you sit, you should be comfortable.
●Be patient and wait until your baby has a wide mouth.
●Make sure the tongue is down.
●The baby's chin is the first part to come to the breast.
Once your baby is attached:
●Your baby's cheeks will be rounded.
●You might see areola at the top lip.
●Sucking will be rhythmic with pauses.
