When clothing tastes clash
You don't have to wait until your child is a preteen to discover just how different your idea of well-dressed and your child's can be.
From the preschool years onward, children commonly have strong feelings about their clothing.
Some want to wear their superhero outfits or their ballet costumes day in and day out. Others have an aversion to anything with elastic in it.

Teaching children to say 'Thank You'
by Sandra R Bon from Norfolk
As a grandmother I find I have done the same things many times that my grandmother taught me
The one important thing children these days fail to do is thank people for giving them things because in my opinion, many children have way to much
So, when my grandkids say they have gotten something from someone for a gift and they are visiting me, I have them write a thank-you note to the person
It was a lesson I learned early in life and my handwriting had to pass my grandmothers test
